The word MATAKIA in Greek is an endearing and cutesy way of saying "eyes". Our range is inspired by The Evil Eye, which for many centuries in Greek culture has been used as an amulet to protect the wearer from negative energies and thoughts from others. The evil eye seeks to bring you protection, love, peace and joy, as do the items in our range.
Not only are we inspired by The Evil Eye, but we also draw inspiration from the symbolic beauties of The Mediterranean and Egypt. Our jewellery is intended to make you feel like the glowing goddess that you actually are!
